RONEY, DarleenDarleen Gloria (Miller) Roney, 69, of Saskatoon, SK, passed away on June 26, 2017. A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date. Darleen was born on April 13, 1948 in Regina, SK, and raised in the Silton/Earl Grey area. While she spent some years in Ontario raising a family, most of her life was spent in Saskatchewan. She remained close to her roots, and always kept a place in her heart for her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She devoted much of her life to family, friends, and raising her two daughters. She had a strong interest in genealogy and over the years compiled generous amounts of family history. Well known for her love of flowers, she was always happiest in her garden, where every perennial and planting held a story. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her most. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Edith, as well as her siblings Gerald, Adeline, and Violet. She is survived by her children Cara and Jennifer as well as her grandchildren Grace, Griffin, and Brighton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
