Darlene Washington, 64, of Sumter, South Carolina, passed Thursday, May 30, 2019. Darlene was born to Melvin Blakeney, and Justice Blakeney, November 12, 1954, in Sumter, South Carolina.

Darlene graduated from West Mecklenburg in 1970. She married Harold Washington in 1973, and they lived together in Sumter. She also volunteered at the Unity Fellowship in 1990 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
