We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Darling Herring, who was born on November 3, 1934, and passed away on July 13, 2024, in Stafford, Virginia, United States. Darling was the beloved daughter of Roberto and Abigail Herring. She was known by many of her friends as "Daisy", known for her bright and warm smile and demeanor.
She is survived by her five children: Thomas Herring, Phyliss King (spouse Henderson King), Frieda Dent (spouse Tim Dent), Sandra Brown, and Desiree Herring. Daisy was also a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren.
Daisy dedicated many years of her life to working at Cherry Hospital before retiring in 1999. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and above all, spending quality time with her family.
Daisy's passing was a result of a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
