Darrow Grigsby, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 16, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 73.

Born on January 19, 1951, Darrow was the son of Patricia and Yvonne Grigsby. In 1982, he married his loving spouse, with whom he had five children: Charles Grigsby, Alma Grigsby, Patricia Philips, Ervin Grigsby, and Kevin Grigsby. Darrow was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren.

Darrow attended Capitol Senior High School, where he graduated in 1973. He continued his education at Southern University, earning his degree in 1978.

Throughout his life, Darrow was an active member of the 100 Black Man of Baton Rouge, Louisiana organization, where he dedicated his time to helping others in need.

In his free time, Darrow enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being a pool shark. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous spirit, and his passion for helping those around him.

Darrow Grigsby will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
