David "Big Moe" Wilkinson was born September 24, 1982 in Harvey, Illinois and was raised in Robbins, IL.

David confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church in Robbins, IL.

David attended Harold L. Richards High School, but later graduated from Aspen High School in Crestwood, IL.

Other than working odd jobs all his life, David enjoyed two things tremendously; his family and the art of music. He was very gifted at freestyling and covering songs and samples. He genuinely cared for all he came in contact with and instilled so much knowledge in the people he knew. Being a father to his daughter was one of his biggest priorities. His love for Desirea was unmatched and his desire to give her the world is what he lived for. Anyone who knew "Big Moe" also knew Gail Ann was his heart and soul. He always sought out to fulfill her happiness. Everyone know the "Wave God" will always be wavy in the memories he left behind. David had a way of ensuring those he knew that he was not afraid of death and always told those in his presence how much he loved them.

David departed his early life on Saturday, May 16, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving mother, Gail; father, David; one daughter, Desirea; his child's mother, Ebone; two sisters; Lakeya and Crystal (Dione); two brothers, James and Michael (Latrina); three uncles, Michael, Antoine and Keith; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
