David Dixon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 14, 2024, in Myrtle Point, Oregon, United States. He was born on November 2, 1952, and adopted months later to William and Irma Lee Dixon. In 2016, he married Kelli Dixon. David was previously married to Sharon Alden who is the mother of his two children which they raised together Karen J Ortiz ( Maiden Name Dixon) and David Michael Dixon Jr. David’s daughter Karen and son David and his wife April all live in California. He was also a Step-father to Kayla and Chase and a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.

David attended Royal High School and graduated in 1970 before continuing his studies at Pierce College and Moorpark College. He dedicated many years of his life to being self-employed as a grove manager and handyman, as well as working for Habitat for Humanity where he built houses from the ground up.

David served his country with honor in the United States Airforce, achieving the rank of SGT. In his free time, he enjoyed hobbies such as archery, fishing, camping, and wood working. He also helped his neighbors and communities wherever he lived.

David Dixon will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to his family, and his kind and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David Dixon is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
