David Discua, 86, of San Pedro Sula, Cortés, passed on January 19, 2023. David was born on May 19, 1936. David served in the Navy as an electrician's mate, operting the radar navigation on his ship, which at one point changed duty stations and was working off the coast of Cuba during the Cuban Missile crisis. Then got honorably discharged from the Navy after 3 years of service. David would always talk about his intellectual training he had while he was in the navy. His training took him to the five man brain bowl team that won the nationals championship in their division. He earned his BA Degree, with a major in history and a minor in science. While he was studying he met his lovely wife Vicki, who is teaching english at a private catholic school. At 86 his heart failed due to his coronary heart disease he had found out he had back in 2018. We love him and will truly miss him.
