The Heavenly Gates opened on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, to welcome our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend David Clark Jr affectionately known as "June baby." He was born March 9, 1954 in Montrose Arkansas to David Sr. And Berdine (Gulley) Clark. David was the second of eight children born to this union. His parents and two brothers Raymond and Dwayne Clark pre-deceased him. He began school in Arkansas until the family moved to Chicago where he continued his education.
As a child David liked to go fishing, play basketball, and travel. At the age of sixteenDavid enlisted into the Marines. A year later he joined the Navy. After serving several years in the Navy he retired. He returned home and brought an 18-wheeler and became a cross country truck driver.
When he wasn’t working or exploring the outdoors, you will find him in the kitchen cooking. Some of his specialties were pancake, steak, and fried fish. He was a fun, adventurous, and always on the go kind of person. He enjoyed watching animal planet and scary movies. He was always interested in what the world had to offer.
David leaves to cherish his loving memories to his three sisters Betty Levingston (George) of Detroit MI, Doris Livingston of Kenosha WI, Icylee Clark of Chicago IL.
