David CordialVentura, CADavid Cordial, 62, of Ventura, CA, passed away at home on November 8, 2016 after a two and a half year battle with cancer. His family was by his side. He is survived by his wife, Kathy and three children and their spouses, Jennifer Luke (David) of Seattle, Jonathan Cordial (Jamie) of Denver, and Jeffrey Cordial (Melissa) of Portland; three grandchildren Owen and Emerson Luke of Seattle and Bradley Cordial of Denver. He is also survived by his brother, Steve, sister, Michelle, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.David was born on November 29, 1953. He attended Camarillo High School, where he played baseball, but more importantly, met Kathy, his wife of 40 years. He went on to play baseball at Ventura College, and attended San Diego State University, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting. David had a successful career as a company controller in Ventura County.David was a beloved family man, known for his humor, avid reading, and love of sports, especially baseball and tennis, whether coaching, playing, watching, or just telling stories. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 3175 Telegraph Rd, Ventura, followed by a celebration of his life at Poinsettia Pavilion, 3451 Foothill Rd, Ventura.
