David Diaz David passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital in Fountain Valley, CA. He was born on April 27, 1967 to Frances Salgado Diaz and the late Francis A. Diaz Sr. David was a member of the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians where he was raised and later moved to Huntington Beach with his wife Cheryl. He enjoyed the beach city life. He would often talk about walking the pier and fishing as his favorite pastimes. He attended school at San Jacinto and completed his education there. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Diaz; mother, Frances Salgado Diaz; brothers, Michael Diaz, and Nakoma Diaz; several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all of us. All friends and family are invited to join us to celebrate his life on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel, 120 North Buena Vista Street, Hemet, CA. Viewing will be at 9:00 am with services beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Soboba Indian Reservation Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Soboba Sports Complex Center located on the Soboba Indian Reservation.
