David A. Dyrhovd1949 - 2013David A. Dyrhovd, 64, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, Oct., 28, 2013 at his home, after a four year battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. David was born on Sept. 9, 1949, in Kenosha to Nicholas and Eleanor (Wolfe) Dyrhovd. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1967 and received an Associates Degree from Gateway in micro computers and a B.A. in fine arts education from U.W. Parkside. David married Peggy Jensen and the couple divorced. He was an organist for many years at various churches in Kenosha including Grace and Trinity Lutheran Church. David also worked as a computer network technician. He met the love of his life Barb Henkel in 1993 and the couple was engaged on Feb. 14, 2012. He enjoyed traveling with his fiance;, Barb and their time together at their camper in Oconto. David was a recreational pilot and built his own ultra-light.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Eugene Dyrhovd.David is survived by his fiance;, Barb Henkel of Kenosha; two children, April Sell of Tampa, Fla., and John Dyrhovd of Twin Lakes; four grandchildren; his sister, Beverly Taylor of Tampa, Fla., as well as other family and friends.Funeral services for David will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
