Haffa, David E.David E. Haffa, 79, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Three Oaks Health Service, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield. The visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday and from 10am on Friday until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. David was born on April 25, 1938 in Phillips to Elliott and Frieda (Rehagen) Haffa and was a 1957 graduate of Phillips High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea from 1961 until 1963. He then served in the Army Reserve until 1967. He married Jean M. Berg on August 6, 1966 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. David had been employed as a salesman at Berg Pontiac in Marshfield and later as a plant operator at St. Joseph's Hospital for 18 years until his retirement. Dave is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean, their daughters, Barb Haffa and Becky (Chris) Seelen and four grandchildren, McKenna and Morgan Rahm and Josie and Bennett Seelen. He is further survived by his brother, Dean Haffa; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Berg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Betty Miller; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jean's parents, Raymond and Mary Berg; a brother-in-law, Warren Berg; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Haffa.
