David H. Freeman, 75, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his home in Prunedale. David was born on January 24, 1940 in Brentwood, California. David spent most of his life in the Prunedale Area.
David was a PFC in the U.S Army, and received accommodations for communication installation, and marksmanship. David was an Owner/Partner of Freeman Lumber, Inc. for 50 years. He was a member of the Prunedale Lion's Club, and the North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce, and a longtime supporter of the Prunedale Senior Center, Manzanita Park, and North County Little League.
David enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, daily trips to the gym and trips to Reno with his brother Wayne.
David was the 4th of ten children. He was preceded in death by his father Davis Freeman, his mother Esther Freeman, and sisters Marianne Freeman, Sylvia Freeman, Louise Cook, and Marilyn Szott.
He is survived by brothers, Brent (Aleen) Freeman of Fresno, Wayne (Pamela) Freeman of Prunedale, and sisters Joan Benbow, Elizabeth Bradley of Salinas, and Gloria Leathley of Lincoln. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Details: Military Honors will take place at 11:00, followed by speeches and stories from family and friends. The family's wish is to have a positive, uplifting, casual celebration, where family and friends are able to share stories of David's life.
