David H Pollard, also known as "Hevylee" of Hampton, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 24, 1946, to the late India E Pollard. David was a member of Morning Glory Baptist Church, in Gloucester, Va. He was known for his unwavering commitment to his family, and friends. With a warm smile and a generous heart, he touched the lives of everyone around him. David also had a passion for building, bowling, fishing, and hanging out with his life long best friend, Herman Booker. His legacy as a caring individual will continue to inspire and resonate within our hearts. In our memories, David remains a beloved brother, uncle, cousin, friend, colleague, and neighbor who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Pollard, James N. Pollard, William T. Pollard Sr., and one sister, Doris A Pollard.
