David B. Kersley, 55, of Reading, Pa.,
formerly of Ottawa, Kan., passed away on Sunday, November 27th, at his home. David was born on July 7, 1961, a son of the late Betty M. (Gilges) and Carl Kersley.
He was a longtime resident of both
Lawrence and Kansas City.
David was very active in his community, Trinity Lutheran Church and Holy Spirit
Lutheran Church of Reading. He was also
involved in many committees and boards. He loved spending time traveling, reading, listening to music and spending time with friends and family. He was a very generous soul, willing to do anything to help others.
He held many high positions including Director of
Development for the Institute of Technology Development; Vice President of Corporate Development for Retirement Management Company; District Executive for Sovereign Bank; Principal and Senior Consultant for Strategis PRC, and most recently Business Analyst for the City of Reading, PA.
David is survived by a sister, Julie Veix of Ottawa, Kan.; a brother, Dale Kersley, husband of Arlene, of Loveland, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents; brother, John; sister, Cynthia; aunts and uncles: Ray and Sharon Lyman, and Ruby and Ralph Gilges; and longtime partner, Randel Wolfe.

service at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 421 Windsor St., Reading, PA 19601, on Sunday, December 4th at 1 p.m.
