David Labor, age 47, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side.

David was born in Boston, MA. He was one of two children. He loved his cat, cooking, and listening to music. After living in Prestonsburg, KY for over 2 decades, David moved to Southwest Virginia with his sister a year and half ago.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister Shawna D' Agostino, his mother Kathleen Shepherd, his sons Christo!er Hall, Blake Labor, Justin Labor, & Scott Labor, his step (bonus) children Jamie Hall, Kayla Hall, & Aleshia Hall (Marcum), his step-grandchildren Alexia McDaniel, Nevaeh Hall, Brooklyn Blocker, Braxton Blocker, Arianna Woods, & Theodore Marcum, his niece Brianna Spencer, his nephew Xander Reece, and a host of close relatives and friends made over the years.

He spent his final days with friends, family, his sons, and his sister while fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

He was of the Christian Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father David Labor Sr., his maternal & paternal grandparents, his honorary son in law Michael Shawn Blocker, his honorary mother in law Julia Carol Conn, and honorary father in law Ronald Hunter.
