David Lee GillettBattle CreekDavid Lee Gillett, age 63, of Battle Creek passed away June 30, 2017 at the Battle Creek Manor.David was born on March 31, 1954 in Battle Creek to Edwin W. and Mary A. (Knight) Gillett. He graduated from Bellevue High School with the class of 1973.David worked for Spartan Foods in Charlotte for several years. He enjoyed watching baseball, going bowling, and was crazy about his adoptive grandson, Nathion.David is survived by his friend, Maria Murphy of Battle Creek; sister, Jinny (Frank) Dimercurio of Harrisville; brother, Tom (Pam) Gillett of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Nathion Murphy of Battle Creek; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mary Gillett; and brother, Dick Gillette.Cremation was been conducted and a private burial at Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue will take place at a later date.Memorial contributions are requested to Chosen Ranch, P.O.
