David LePoris, 68Muncie - David LePoris, 68, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at The Woodland Nursing Home.He was born on December 2, 1948, the son of Bernard and Elizabeth LePoris.David graduated from Fairfield High School in Ohio and then attended Ball State College. He then enlisted in the United States Army. After the armed services, he would work for the Delaware County Emergency Management team, working his way up to deputy director. David had a love of pottery and reading, he even had kilns at his home. He was known as someone who always gave to others in need.Left to mourn the loss of David are his three grandchildren Montana, Makayla, and Leslie and two very close friends Larry Roberts and Jennifer Welch.David was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jane LePoris and his daughter Yvonne Mohler.Funeral services will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Chris Bunch officiating.Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until service time Thursday.
