David Michael Thiel, 53, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Sheboygan Aurora Memorial Medical Center.David was born on December 23, 1963, in Sheboygan to Herbert and Joanne (Pawasarat) Thiel. He was a 1982 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. David took classes at UW-Madison, UW-Sheboygan and MATC. On October 21, 2000, David married Shalimar Jacks at St. Luke United Methodist Church. David was employed as an IT professional for various businesses in Sheboygan.David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoyed listening to music, on state of the art stereo equipment, and photography. David always had an interest in new technology, whether it regarded high quality sound systems, data systems, reproducing photo images, and automotive innovations. David was a grill master and loved preparing for holiday meals. David is survived by his wife, Shalimar Thiel; three sons, Nigel, Graham and Miles Thiel; father, Herbert (Margaret Heschke) Thiel of Sheboygan; brother, Brian (Hillevi) Thiel of Sweden; three sister-in-laws, Lalasa (Somendra) Singh of London, Celina (Robbie) Jacks of Appleton, and Adia Jacks of London; brother-in-law, Arius (Anglea) Jacks of Sheboygan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Keith and Elaine Jacks of Sheboygan; two uncles, Michael (Martha "Marty") Pawasarat, and Jerome Thiel; four aunts, Jean (Don) Lauer, Judy (Merlin) Krull, and Dolly (Ronald) Kampmann, Louise Thiel; six nieces, Alexandra, Isabel, and Madeleine Thiel, Isabelle Jacks, Jesseline Singh and Vania McGlone; five nephews, Hayden Jacks, Camryn Jacks, Liam, Henry and Elishah McGlone. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Thiel; aunt, LouAnn Thiel; and uncle, Wallace "Wally" Thiel; A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls at 1pm with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating.Relatives and friends may greet the family at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 10am until the time of service at 1pm.
