On November 14, 2018 David Stacy was suddenly called to his eternal home in heaven by our Lord. His cause of death was determined to be hypertensive heart disease secondary to diabetes type II. He was born in Hackensack Hospital, Bergen County, NJ and lived in Carlstadt, NJ until moving to Miramar, Florida in December 1972 and then Brandon, Florida in 1976. He was baptized Catholic and was a member of The Nativity Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents William Kenneth and Helen Lorin Stacy of Brandon and survived by his wife Sommer, devoted brothers William E and Steven T Barnes of Brandon and William K and Scott Stacy of New Jersey and loving sisters Loretta Jakubas of New Jersey and Catherine Bianchi of Lakeland, brother-in-law Carl Bianchi also of Lakeland, his Aunt and Uncle Judith and Raymond Mazzone of Beverly Hills Florida, a cousin Ray Mazzone and his wife Nancy of Ocala and 6 nephews, 2 nieces and 17 great nephews and neices. David graduated from Brandon High in 1986 and received a degree from Sanford-Brown Institute in 2008. David worked as a Jack of all Trades including Irrigation and Landscape Design and Installation, Auto-mechanics, Medical Assistant, Armed Security Guard and Paver Design and Installation. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the Florida sunsets. Despite David's family offering to pay for all and any funeral arrangements, his wife Sommer and her fiance Donnie never returned any calls or texts to Davids family regarding his final arrangements. Therefore, in grief, his family arranged a mass dedicated to the memory of David Stacy, which was conducted by The Order of Carmelites on Thanksgiving Day 11/22/2018 at The Society of The Little Flower. An urn was designed and created by Davids nephew, William Barnes Jr, who arranged with Sommer to pick this up but she failed to keep their meeting or contact him. David will be memorialized by his loving family in a celebration of life. His memory will be treasured and he will be missed beyond measure. David, although we may never know what became of you physically, we do know that your spirit remains eternally with us and your soul with God. RIP David Stacy.
