David was born on September 27, 1927 in South Amboy, NJ to David W., Jr. and Sally (O'Connor) Quinlan. David was a retired Manager in the Oil Industry. He moved to Citrus County in 1994 from South River, NJ. David was a former Merchant Marine, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Crystal River, FL, he was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and Past Grand Knight, a member of the Moose Lodge and the West Citrus Elks Lodge in Homosassa.Survived by his children, David W., IV and his wife Gabriele Quinlan, Michael Richard and his wife Joan Quinlan, Sharon E. Quinlan, Noreen Peters-Fusco and her husband Thomas Fusco and Ellen and her husband Peter Laramee; one brother John Quinlan; grandchildren, Wayne Laul, Alyce Quinlan, Kelly Quinlan, Fiona Quinlan, Siobhan Quinlan and Katherine Peters.Family received friends on Wednesday, May 3rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Lecanto, FL. Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4th at St Benedicts Catholic Church in Crystal River, FL. Private cremation will follow under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
