Dawn Anderson, 52, of Duluth, Minnesota, died Sunday, September 01, 2019 from liver failure caused by an agressive type of bile duct cancer. Dawn was born to Jerard "Pete" Matheson, and Sarajean Marcia Theresa Williams Matheson, June 04, 1967 in Duluth, Minnesota.
Dawn graduated from Denfeld High School in 1985 and received a degree from University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 1997. She married Paul Thomas Anderson in 1991, and they lived together in Eagan, MN. Dawn worked at Donaldson Company through JP Staffing.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Paul Thomas Anderson, her son Isaac Alexander Anderson, two sisters, Cari Jane Matheson, Tara Jean Peterson, one brother Peter James Matheson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews.
Dawn was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed camping, board games, movies, reading, social media, roleplaying games and spending time with her family. She was known for being kind and accepting to everyone and for her generous spirit.
A Celebration of Life for Dawn will be this Thursday, September 5th at Eagen Community Center, 1501 Central Pkwy, Eagan, MN 55121 at 1:00 pm. A brief service will be at 2:00 followed by a social gathering. Food will be served. Everyone is welcome to come and share their memories.
Time and place of internment is yet to be determined.
