TOLEDO — Dawn Elaine Murphy, 53, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Defiance County as the result of an auto accident. She was born on January 13, 1961, to Elwood and Karen (Keating) Emenhiser in Auburn, Indiana. On December 12, 1987, she married Kevin Murphy. Dawn and her husband, Kevin, owned and operated The Kid's Stop in Toledo. She loved spending time with her family, especially Kevin, her sons and grandchildren and her four-legged friends. Dawn is survived by her husband, Kevin; sons, Jason Burley and fiancee, Dani Collins, of Auburn, Indiana, Jeremy andRachel Burley of Hamilton, Indiana, and Ryan Burley of Butler, Indiana; her grandchildren, Taylor, Piersten, Brooklyn and Jackson Burley; her siblings, Steve and Genevieve Emenhiser of Defiance, Ohio, Coleen and Mike Szyskowski of Toledo, Ohio, Lesa and Rick Smith of Leo, Indiana, Joseph and Denise Everetts III of Xenia, Ohio, and Elizabeth and Rick Wilson of Annville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio. All other services will be private.
