Dean Barnes BradshawTremonton - Dean Barnes Bradshaw, kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully Sunday morning September 29, 2013 surrounded by family. Dean was born on January 23, 1924 to Phoebe Jenkins Barnes and Thomas Stewart Bradshaw. He was born and raised in the family home in Wellsville, UT. Dean married Carma Rae Stauffer on January 23, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple.He had a special place in his heart for his family and grandchildren, and they could always count on him to provide various forms of entertainment. He loved the land and the mountains where he skied and enjoyed nature hikes with his family. He was an avid reader, enjoying a varied collection of books. He golfed, and also flew his own airplane.Dean graduated from South Cache High School, and following time at Utah State University he enlisted in the Army where he served with the 101st Airborne in the European theatre.He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a ward clerk in various wards. He officiated in the Logan Temple for four years and at the time of his passing was a High Priest.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carma Rae Stauffer; children: Marilee (David) Sackolwitz, Nancy (Kent) Webb, Paul (Anjee), Barry (Lisa), and Jed (Andrea); 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Noble.Funeral services for Dean will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Tremonton 6th Ward chapel (660 N. 300 E.). There will be a viewing held on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.) and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service. A military burial will take place at the Wellsville City Cemetery following the services.The family would like to thank Dr. R.W.
