Deandre Bailey was born on May 21, 1982, in Youngstown, Ohio, to proud parents John and Lisa Bailey. He was the youngest of three siblings, with two older sisters, Maria and Angela. Deandre was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and uncle who always put his family first and cherished every moment spent with them.
Deandre was an outstanding student and athlete at Youngstown High School, where he excelled in football and track and field. He was a standout running back and won countless awards and accolades for his exceptional skills on the field. After graduating high school, Deandre attended Ohio State University, where he continued to play football while pursuing his degree in business.
After college, Deandre returned to Youngstown and started his career in finance. He worked hard to establish himself as a respected professional and quickly rose through the ranks at several prominent firms. Deandre was known for his intelligence, work ethic, and integrity, and he was widely admired by his colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Deandre had a variety of passions and interests. He loved to travel and explore new places, and he took his wife, Tanya, and their two children, Jackson and Ava, on many memorable trips over the years. Deandre was also an avid golfer, and he spent many weekends on the course with his friends and family.
On April 26, 2023, Deandre passed away unexpectedly at the age of 40. His death was a shock to everyone who knew and loved him, and the entire community mourned his loss. Deandre will be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving person who brought joy and happiness to everyone around him. He touched countless lives during his time on earth and left behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations to come.
Deandre is survived by his wife, Tanya, and their children, Jackson and Ava, as well as his parents, John and Lisa Bailey, his sisters, Maria and Angela, his nieces and nephews whom he treated as his own Jaladah Bailey, John Bailey, and Amira Bailey. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deandre Bailey Memorial Fund, which will provide scholarships to young athletes in the Youngstown community who share his passion for sports and dedication to excellence.
