Debbie Dawkins, a beacon of love and laughter, bid us farewell on September 4, 2023. She was a cherished resident of Lexington, South Carolina, where she brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Born on January 29, 1953, Debbie brought joy into this world from the moment she entered it. With her infectious smile and contagious giggle, she had a knack for making even the gloomiest of days a little brighter.
Debbie was a lover of life, finding happiness in the simplest of things. Whether it was tending to her dogs, sharing stories of God as a Prayer Warrior, or caring for her family, she embraced every moment with a zest for living.
Known for her warm heart, nurturing spirit, and love of God, Debbie was a pillar of support for her friends and family. She had an uncanny ability to make anyone feel loved and accepted, welcoming all into her embrace with open arms and a compassionate soul.
Debbie had a mischievous side that was a surprise to many. Her playful pranks and witty sense of humor could instantly turn a frown upside down. Those lucky enough to witness her infectious laughter would find themselves caught in an eternal cycle of joy.
Throughout her life, Debbie touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, light, and laughter. Though she may have left this world physically, her spirit will forever resonate with those she held dear.
Debbie, you will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember to carry her laughter and kindness in our hearts, always ready to share them with others, just as she did during her time with us.
Debbie has now joined her beloved husband Frank Dawkins in the Kingdom of Heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Bama (Muffen) Minemier, and son in law, Christopher Minemier as well as her aunt and uncle, Jan and Bob Gilligan.
