Deborah Ann BordenCamarillo, CADeborah Ann Borden, age 67 of Camarillo passed away early morning on Wednesday October 11th, 2017 after a long painful battle with rheumatoid arthritis. Deborah also known as Debbie or Deb's was born on November 6th 1949 in Oxnard, California to Arthur Lee Thornton and Colleen Julia Seaman.Debbie lived in Ventura County most of her life. Before retiring she worked for the U.S Government on the Seabee base in Port Hueneme as a Data Management Specialist for 27 years.Debbie was a stubborn lady but we loved her. If you knew her you'd know that if you were having a bad day Debbie would do anything to make you smile. She liked reading books mainly horror genres, sewing and crafting was a passion, she also loved her animals. You would find her on any given day bringing a stray animal home to nurture back to healthy and give it a loving home. The one thing that was near and dear to her heart was her family. Time spend with us would always involve listening to her favorite music or telling jokes.Debbie is survived by her Mother Colleen Julia Thornton of Kingman Az, her 2 Brothers Stephen Howard Thornton and Eric Arthur Thornton, daughter Dawn Michele Hansen, Son in law Peter Woodford Hansen and her 4 grandchildren Katlyn Michele 18 , Kylie Ann 15, Paige Ellen 10 and Bailey Louise 7.Rosary for Debbie will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday October 18 at at Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, 1075 E.
