Deborah Denise Rabeck, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Debbie was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 4, 1952 to William “Bill” and Leta Wilks. She attended and graduated from Castleberry School System in 1970, then continued her education at the University of Texas at Arlington for her bachelor’s degree, then achieved her Master’s degree from University of Texas at Dallas, and finely received her PhD in Behavioral Psychology from the University of North Texas.

She was first employed as a medical technologist with Harris Hospital Laboratory in Fort Worth, and spent a decade as a contractor with Scone Medical Devices training and installing laboratory equipment, over a five state territory. During her Post Grad work she spent a year with The Ericsson Institute in Phoenix, Az. She opened a private practice doing Psychological testing, counseling, and evaluation. Her practice expanded into contracts with several Hospitals and medical associations, doing Psychological evaluation and qualification for Liver, Kidney, and Heart Transplants. Once semi-retired she took a Board position with Christian Homes & Family Services Of Abilene for seven years. She was a wonderful wife, educator, practitioner and a dutiful Christian Mother. A dedicated member of Alpine Church of Christ and former member of North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington.

Survivors: Husband, Randy Rabeck; Brother, Wayne Wilks and Joyce Lacker; Daughter, Natalie Hollifield and husband Mark; Son, Robert Rabeck; and Grandchildren, Breanna, Jacob, Jamie and Koltin.
