Deborah "Debbie" P. RobinsonDeborah "Debbie" P. Robinson, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Tallahassee, Florida. Debbie was born on February 20, 1956 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to the late Frances A. (Wapinsky) and Robert S. Pacenta. A graduate of St. Clair High School in PA, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and later received her Master's Degree in Library Science at the University of South Florida. She held several library positions in both Florida and Maryland, most currently as director of library services at Tallahassee Community College. She was very active in Florida library organizations and had a passion for helping students. In 1976, she married James A. Robinson III of Portland, Maine. The couple spent half of their 18-year marriage living in Maine before settling in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with their two children. Debbie loved visiting the gulf beaches, cooking, watching Gator football, and spending time with her pets. Debbie is survived by her two children, son Christopher Robinson of Atlanta, GA and daughter Mary McDonald of Kailua, HI; four grandchildren Ava, Colin, Rhys, and Bailey; former husband, Jim; and two siblings, Lynn and Bob Pacenta. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tallahassee, FL on July 15, 2017 at 1pm.
