Debra Ann Watson, age 82, a native and resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, October 20, 2025 at North Baldwin Infirmary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Ben Watson; a son, Jeffery Carl Watson; a grandson, Justin Watson and her parents, Grady and Monzee Dees.

Debra was a beloved wife to Buster Ben Watson, whom she married in 1959. Together, they raised four children: Micheal Watson, Donna Allyce Watson, and Deloris Ann Cox (spouse Johnny Cox).

Debra was a dedicated retired teacher who touched the lives of many students throughout her career. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and love for education.

Debra leaves behind 14 cherished grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grand children as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Cox, Brian Burton, Keenan Washington, Kelton Langford, Richard Corb and Paul Wayne Emmanuel. Honorary pallbearer will be A.J. Rinkus.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
