Dee Ann NelsonApril 4, 1951 - October 13, 2014Dee Ann Nelson, 63, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at Ashley Manor Care Center in Chubbuck, ID.She was born in Pocatello on April 4, 1951 to Lloyd H. Hill and Delcia T. (Lowe) Hill. The family moved to Montpelier in 1959. Dee Ann attended high school and made many close friends while there. The family moved back to Pocatello in 1969 and she finished school at Highland where she was a Lassie.Dee Ann married Dave L. Nelson on December 13, 1969 in Salt Lake City. They had one daughter, Sheri Ann Nelson, born on June 23, 1970. They were later divorced. Dee Ann lived in Costa Rica for several years.Dee Ann moved to Bellingham, Washington where she met and married Farron Arana Figaroa on December 19, 2002. They were later divorced.Dee Ann is survived by her daughter, Sheri Ann Nelson, Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren, Jamie and Joseph, Seattle, Washington; mother, Delcia T. Hill, Pocatello, ID; siblings, Gordon (Paula) Hill, Chubbuck, ID, Brenda Bolton, Pocatello, ID, Terri Lin (John) Ward, Florida, David (Gaileen) Hill, Pocatello, ID, Julie Dee (Earl) Anderson, Morgan, Utah, and Judy (Floyd) Cornelison, Wasilla, Alaska.She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd H. Hill of Pocatello, ID.Her brother Gordon said of her, "Dee Ann received the same sized candle that we all received, she just burned hers a lot faster."A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the LDS Church, 954 E.
