Deedra Lucas, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 63, after battling cancer. Deedra was born on February 1, 1962, to Bobby James Cornstubble and Lottie Mae Cornstubble. Throughout her life, she found joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren, family, and friends. She was known for her infectious laughter and warm, welcoming spirit.

Deedra leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, as well as four children: Jeffery Young, Brittany Biela (with spouse Paul Biela), Kimberly Green, and John Lucas Jr. She also had the joy of being a Nana to 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Lucas, daughter Ashley Kavanaugh, parents Bobby and Lottie Cornstubble, sister Bobbie "Kayleen" Cornstubble, and brothers Jackie Cornstubble and Steven Cornstubble.

Deedra loved listening to music, doing word search puzzles, game nights, fishing, and attending church. She enjoyed hosting all the holidays to have her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all together.

Although she may be gone, Deedra will forever be remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
