Degrapth Edward Palmore Sr. was born on September 25, 1948 in Eufaula, Alabama to Frank and Sadie Palmore. Degrapth had been a long time residence of Akron, Ohio until he retired and moved back to his hometown of Eufaula in 2005.
He received his early education from Eufaula Elementary School and graduated from Eufaula High School. Degrapth had been employed by Ohio Edison for over 25 years until his retirement in 2005. He and his wife then moved back down to Eufaula where he could enjoy his retirement.
Degrapth enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and having fun. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing, especially hand-dancing. But most of all, his children and his family meant the world to him.
He is preceeded in death by his parents Frank and Sadie Palmore, sister Mary (Nunie) Smith, and son Keith Palmore.
Degrapth leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Jane Palmore ; daughters Nazaree (Victor), Charonda Palmore; son Degrapth Palmore Jr.; grand-children Porschea Milan, Mishalay (Jade) Milan, Paris Palmore, Alazae Palmore; great-grandchildren Kassidy Milan and Austin Hightower; sisters Dean (Robert) Hall, Dot Palmore, Francine White; brother Humphrey (Betty) Palmore. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
