Deion Morris was born on March 15, 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the youngest child of Gerald and Denise Morris, and grew up with three siblings. 3 Brothers (Taviane Morris, Mark Morris and late Shawn Morris) 1 Sister (Denean Morris). Deion was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. He always put his family first and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Deion graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He worked for several years as a financial analyst before starting his own successful business, which he ran for 8 years.
Deion was known for his passion for sports, especially football. He played in high school and college, and even continued to play in local adult leagues. He was an avid basketball player and enjoyed playing pick-up games with his friends. Deion was also a huge fan of the Baltimore Ravens and attended many games with his family and friends.
Aside from sports, Deion was passionate about volunteering and giving back to his community. He participated in various events throughout the year, and always made time to help those less fortunate. He was a mentor to many young men in his community, and was often called upon for advice and guidance.
Deion married his high school sweetheart, Jasmine, in 2009. They had two children together, a son named Malik and a daughter named Maya. Deion was a devoted husband and father, and his family meant everything to him. He was often seen attending his children's sporting events, school functions, and family gatherings.
On April 10, 2023, Deion Morris passed away suddenly at the age of 40. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. His legacy of hard work, dedication to family, and commitment to serving others will live on forever.
Deion is survived by his wife, Jasmine; his children, Malik and Maya; his parents, Gerald and Denise Morris; his siblings, Tonya, Michael, and Brittany; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Deion's life will be held on April 15, 2023 at the Baltimore Convention Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Baltimore, an organization that was near and dear to Deion's heart.
