Delia C. Gallegos, 93, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, in Las Vegas.She was born on Oct. 4, 1922, in Mora to Vicente Archuleta and Casimira Romero Archuleta.She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She loved to bake, crochet and fish. A Catholic, she attended Immaculate Conception Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Casimira Archuleta; husband, Dominico Gallegos; infant son, Juan Gallegos; brothers, Amadeo Archuleta, Pedro Archuleta, Sotero Archuleta; sisters, Nora Rodriquez, Frances Tapia, Estella Tenorio and Benita Avila; infant sister, Frances Archuleta; grandson, Joey Padilla; great-grandson, Angel Antonio Sanchez and nephew, Eddie ArchuletaShe is survived by her daughters, Theresa Gallegos, Bessie Sanchez and husband, Wilfred, all of Las Vegas; son, Carlos Gallegos and wife, Bernadette, of Santa Fe; daughter, Judy Padilla of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Greg Sanchez and fiancée, Tiffany, Dominic Gallegos and wife, Monica, Suzie Padilla-Steel and husband, Scott, Trish Padilla and companion, David, Mike Padilla and companion, Jenn and Steven Gallegos; great-grandchildren, Teresa and her fiancé, Craig, Al, Christina, Isabela, Andres, Cruz, Joey, Isaiah and Noah; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah, Patience, Genesis and Novalee; brother, Juan Archuleta of Las Vegas; sisters-in-law, Phyliss Archuleta, Clara Archuleta, all of Las Vegas, and Josie Archuleta of Pueblo, Colo.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. today (Friday) at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral service will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Saturday also at Immaculate Conception Church, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas with the following serving as casket bearers: Greg Sanchez, Dominic Gallegos, Steven Gallegos, Teresa Padilla, Mike Padilla and Isabella Steel.
