Stelter, Della E.Della E. Stelter, age 96, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Martha's in Princeton. She was born on February 5, 1921, at home, in the township of Mecan, a daughter of Otto and Dena (Holtz) Bornick. On May 15, 1938, Della married Albert Stelter in rural Montello. She loved playing bingo and attending trap shoots. Della also enjoyed keeping records for the Central WI Trap Shooting League. For a time, Della had been a cook and caretaker at NePeeNauk by Lake Puckaway and had also worked 2 years for the Del Monte Canning Company in Markesan. Della is survived by her 3 sons, Edwin Stelter of Montello, Harold (Marion) Stelter of Princeton, Norman (Jeanette) Stelter of Montello; 6 grandchildren, Shelly, John, Michael, Nick, Nicole, Eric; 2 great grandchildren, Amara and Kerrigan; step grandchild, Jasmine; sister, Lorraine Marotz of Westfield; son-in-law, Bob Pribnow of Berlin; special friend, Carolyn Stibb of Princeton; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Dena Bornick; husband, Albert Stelter; daughter, Edna Pribnow; sister, Elnora; 2 brothers, Elmer and Robert. A funeral service for Della E. Stelter will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 Harvard St., in Princeton. Pastor Gary Zacharias will conduct the service. Della will be laid to rest following the service in the Princeton City Cemetery.
