DeMarcus Brown, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on December 2, 2025. He was born on June 7, 1998 to proud parents Marc Brown and Tawanna Putt.

DeMarcus is survived by his beloved daughter Jaynia Brown, who followed in his footsteps by excelling in academics and community service. Jaynia studied at Bossier High School and Southern University, where she continued to make her father proud.

DeMarcus was known for his passion for basketball, his love of traveling, and his devotion to spending time with family. He also dedicated his time to helping out in the Boys Youth organization, where he made a positive impact on countless young lives.

Although his life was tragically cut short by an act of violence, DeMarcus will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his kind heart, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Rest in peace, DeMarcus. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
