Dennis Paul “Denny” DiFilippo, 71, of Kiski Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2023 in AHN- Forbes Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. 

Born June 5, 1952 in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late Flavio O. & Angeline F. (Donatelli) DiFilippo. 

Denny lived in the Apollo area all of his life, and was a 1970 graduate of Apollo Ridge High School. He served our country with the United States Army Air Corps of Engineers Reserves. Denny worked in construction for 45 years, and spent the last 18 years as a Bricklayer for Local Union #9, employed with Kusler Masonry Inc. in Carnegie. He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Apollo. 

Denny enjoyed being with his family and friends, and loved sharing his knowledge with them.  

He liked going on road trips, and playing scratch off tickets. 

In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Giovanna Jean DiFilippo. 

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vickie L. (Orkwis) DiFilippo; children, Nicholas D. (Zarah) DiFilippo of Spring Church, Nathan F. DiFilippo of San Diego, CA, Natalie L. (Chad) Reese of Kiski Township; grandchildren, Bailee, Jaden, Nicholas Jr. “Bubba”, Giuseppe “Joey”, and Gabriella DiFilippo, Karson & Karlee Reese; brothers, Oreste Flavio “Peter” (Carol Stewart) DiFilippo of Spring Church, Pasquale Lorenzo “Patsy” DiFilippo of Hyde Park; and nieces and nephews, including his Godson, Patrick. 

Denny’s unselfish contribution to the world will live on forever in everyone that crossed his path.
