Denise Lynette Daughtry, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed on March 25, 2023. Denise was born on February 14, 1969. She was the next youngest to 8 siblings and she loved her large family. Denise was known by the names Bootsie and Booty Boo, she was also called "Tyson" because when it came to her family although she was tiny, she was packed full of dynamite.

Denise attended Seneca High School where she graduated. She later attended Ahren's Vocational School where she earned her CNA certification. Denise was a member of King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized at an early age. She loved her Pastor the Rev. Dr. Charles Elliott Jr. and up until the time she fell ill she would pop in not only to worship, but to make sure her Pastor was doing okay.

Denise was a published writer, poet, a music lover, Troop & New Editions biggest fan, she thought she was Mary J, and would dance circles around you. YOU DON'T WANT THIS! In her high pitched voice. Denise was also a member of Order Of The Eastern Stars, Prince Hall, Zorah Chapter #20.

Denise was preceded in death by her Mother Jimmie Ann Anderson, and her Father, sister Augusta Mae Jones, brothers Frederick Lee Daughtry, and Keith Lamont Daughtry. She leave to mourn her children, Donesia Lynet' Johnson (Corey Billizone), Donald Everette Johnson III, Denzel Antonio Johnson, and grandchildren Audrianna Zoret' Thomas, & Ari' Elle Thomas. Siblings Minister Helena Booker, Linda Jones, Shamika Daughtry, Darrell Daughtry, and Robert Daughtry. Denise also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and many many friends.
