DENNIS BLAND
SALISBURY, MISSOURI — Dennis Ray Bland., 54, passed away at 12:14 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio.
He was born on June 4, 1963, in Carrollton, Illinois, the son of Lester "Pete" and Mary Ann (Hansen) Bland.
He married Margaret "Maggie" Rose Davila on April 9, 2016, in Roxana, Illinois. She survives.
Dennis was a truck driver for SFTL. He enjoyed collecting marbles and Hot Wheels, riding his Harley, and driving his truck.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his parents of Bethalto; three children, Jaired Bland of Bethalto, Nathan Bland of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Caitlyn Bland of Edgewood, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Alexander Cole Norris, Nolan Isaiah Norris, Holden and Abby Bland; and two siblings and their spouses, Rebecca "Becky" and Ronald Snider of Prairietown, Gary and Patty Bland of Glen Carbon.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tony and Louise Hansen; and paternal grandparents, Jake Bland and Moina Bailey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin with Rev. Paul Frazier officiating.
Burial will follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Kampsville.
