Visitation will be held all day Monday, April 10, at the funeral home with family present 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in Shaffer Funeral Home's Sherwood Way Chapel, with burial to follow in Grape Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way. Pallbearers will be Gary McClure, James Power, Jim Smith, Rex Mirick, Josh Andrews, Cody Andrews, Phillip Thompson and Jason Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Worrell, Paige Jenkins and Paisley Jenkins.Dennis was born on Oct. 10, 1946 in Loraine, Texas. He proudly served his country in the Navy SeaBees from June 4, 1964 to Sept. 14, 1967. He served two tours in Vietnam and received two Bronze Stars. He worked at Templeton Construction for 41 years and retired in May of 2011. Dennis loved his family dearly and always enjoyed spending time with them.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Worrell; mother, Jane Andrews; father, Delbert Worrell; step-father, Pete Andrews; brother, Carl Andrews; and daughter, Carolyn Fedor.Dennis is survived by his daughter, Angel Hodges and fiancee, Jimmy Rickard of San Angelo; son, Bryan Worrell and wife Heather stationed in Germany; daughter, Brenda Lomax and husband Van of Jackson, Tennessee; son, Butch Hodges and wife Audrey of Baytown; brothers, Petey Andrews and wife Marla of Sweetwater and Darrell Andrews and wife Lisa of Loraine; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several other family members.
