Dennis Danny Massey Jr., 40, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday May 31, 2015. His family and his faith supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. He was born on December 16, 1974 in Yuma AZ.Dennis was employed at Paradise Casino and The Q Casino and Resort as security and surveillance monitor. He was a member of Bard Church of the Nazarene in Bard, CA. He graduated from San Pasqual High School in Winterhaven, CA. Dennis enjoyed cooking, playing guitar, playing video games, Star Wars, music, pictures, concerts, road trips and getting lost to find new places. Dennis is survived by his wife, Estella Massey of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Kailyn Malit of Yuma, AZ; brother, Jonathon Massey of Winterhaven, CA; sister, Denise Massey (Kevin Mcewen); brother, Gabe (Chasttidy) Massey of Yuma, AZ; aunt Marilyn Brown of Winterhaven, CA; 4 nieces, 1 nephew, numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgina Massey; father, Dennis D. Massey Sr; maternal grandmother, Alice Brown; maternal grandfather Fritz Brown; paternal grandfather, Gabriel Massey and Paternal grandmother, Mary Massey.Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm at Yuma Mortuary 775 S. 5th Ave. Yuma, AZ. Services will begin at 2pm with Pastor Raymond Jesser. Wake will be held from 3pm to 4:30pm. Traditional tribal rites will be held at the Quechan Big House 5pm with cremation at sunrise.
