Staff Sgt Dennis Frank Melton the 3rd ,
more commonly known as Frankie was born in Nashville TN on June 21st of
1994 and lived in Waverly majority of his life. The grief by his family, surviving parents:
Dennis Melton, Heather Morgan, siblings: Taelor Bush, Michael Melton, nieces: Karma Melton, Alexandra Bush and
nephew Christopher Bush is unbearable, but we find comfort in the shared grief
of our community.

Frankie attended college at Austin Peay in Clarksville, TN after attending high school
at WCHS then joined the Air Force shortly thereafter where he was awarded an
Achievement Medal, a Humanitarian Medal, 3 Meritorious Unit awards, and a Small
Arms Expert Markmanship Ribbon. He
finished his tour working in Security Forces.

Growing up Frankie always wanted to
help change the world and make it a better place. He was always a positive influence on those
around him, and a strong support for those who loved him. Frankie loved to mentor those around him in
life and was an avid soccer player.

Those who knew Frankie are welcomed
with open arms into our family of love and support. We hope the message spreads to be the light
in the darkness to all you know, make people smile whatever whenever you can, to listen and be a friend to anyone
who may need it. We ask that Frankie’s
spirit lives on in this way.
