DENNIS 'DENNI' E. FRANK, 77 FREEPORT - Dennis "Denni" E. Frank, 77, a quiet and gentle man, of Freeport, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Mr. Frank was born on February 26, 1936, in Freeport; the son of Edward and Amelia (Opetz) Frank. Denni married Jane Stewart in Freeport on April 25, 1977. Denni worked for Micro Switch for 47 years before retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, doing yard work, golfing, playing cards and watching sporting events, in particular the Chicago Bears. Surviving are his wife, Jane Stewart Frank of Freeport; two daughters, Lori Frank of Albuquerque, N.M. and Heidi Ludolph of Freeport; sister, JoAnne (Fred) Kujawski of Barrington, IL.; stepson, Dave Stewart of Sanford, MI.; step-daughter, Minna (Norm) Flock of Forreston; step daughter-in-law, Jodi Stewart of Evansville, WI.; two sons-in-law, Dan Goldberg and Jim Wilkinson. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Ryan Woodley, Whitney Lindsay, Elizabeth Wilkinson, Matthew Ludolph and Natalie Ludolph; nine step-grandchildren, Jacob Stewart, Emily Phelps, Lindsey Stewart, Chelsea Stewart, Jane Stewart, Martha Stewart, Rosie Stewart, Mitch Hiteman and Ben Hiteman; one great- grandson, Parker Woodley; and two great step grandchildren, Morgan and Avery Stewart. Denni was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Lisa Goldberg and Linda Wilkinson; and stepson, Greg Stewart. Funeral Mass will be at noon Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Kenneth Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Thomas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mr. Frank's memory.
