Dennis OttingerDennis Ottinger, 63, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 7:32 a.m. at St. Anthony Health Care.  Dennis was born on June 11, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to the late David Neil and Marguerite Mary (Kean) Ottinger.  He served as a Jet Engine Mechanic in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974.  He worked as a Boiler Technician at A.E. Staley for 37 years.  Dennis loved Golfing, his Labrador Retrievers and the Cubs.  He was a great father and a great friend; with an unbelievable sense of humor.  He will truly be missed.Surviving are his two sons, Christopher and Michael; his three brothers and three sisters: Mary, Susan, Walter, Anthony, George and Leona.  Simplicity Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences at www.simplicity-funeralcare.com.
