Dennis R. NeumannEAST PEORIA - Dennis R. Neumann, age 71, of East Peoria, IL, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016.Memorial service dates are pending.Dennis was born on November 23, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edward and Barbara Neumann. He married Sandra (Young) Neumann on July 30, 1966. Survivors include his mother, Barbara; his wife, Sandra; his children, Steve Neumann, Karen (Shawn) Meeks and Cathy Neumann (Tim Camacho); and four grandchildren, Dalton, Reid, Jacob and Dayton. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda (Jack) Varty and Susan (Joe) Borowski.Dennis graduated from Detroit College of Business and dedicated his career to working for Fruehauf Trailer Corporation and Star Transport, Inc. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and never missed one of their home sporting events. In his younger years, he enjoyed woodworking and also always enjoyed vegetable gardening and yard work.Memorial donations in honor of Dennis may be given to Foster Pet Outreach at 10206 W.
