Dennis Wade Harmon passed away on January 15, 2017. He was born on May 28th, 1964 to Leonard "Gene" and Vanora Harmon at Glasgow AFB, Montana. After living at various Air Force Bases, the Harmons settled down in Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1972 where Dennis lived the rest of his life. Dennis was a hard-working independent man, holding various jobs throughout his life but known mainly for pushing carts at our local Wal-Mart for over 20 years. When Dennis wasn't working, you could find him for many years riding his bike around town, always wearing a beard and cowboy hat. He was a cowboy and loved all things traditional and country. He loved his family and the many cats he cared for over the years. He especially liked collecting pictures of his nieces and nephews which he proudly hung and displayed across his walls. Always the smiling jokester, Uncle Dennis will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.Dennis is survived by his parents-Leonard and Vanora Harmon-his sisters-Darlene (Mike) leFevre, Barbara (Tony) Hernandez, and Rita (Joe) Luna- and his nephews and nieces-Nathanael Hernanadez, Luke Luna, Talitha Hernandez, Deidre LeFevre, Sammy Joe Luna, Savannah Hernandez, Carenna LeFevre, Naomi Luna, Kendrick Hernandez, and Michaela LeFevre.A memorial service will be held Thursday January 19 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home on 1st street.
