Denton L. JordanAge: 65 • Stuarts Draft, VADenton Lewis Jordan, 65, husband of Faith Colvin-Jordan, of 275 Cranberry Drive, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his residence.Mr. Jordan was born on April 14, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Denton King Jordan and Mary (Nuckoles) Jordan Fielding.Denton was a member of Valley Baptist Church and was employed as a new car salesman for 31 years at Paul Obaugh Ford. Prior to his employment with Paul Obaugh, Denton was employed as a Deputy with the Augusta County Sherriff's Department for 10 years. He was a member of The Gideon's International, the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad, and a proud member of the National Rifle Association (NRA.) Denton enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family and his grandchildren were "his life."In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon and Susie.Surviving in addition to his wife of 17 years are three sons, Brian M. Jordan and his wife Heather of Mooresville, North Carolina, Jason S. Jordan and his wife Lauren of Staunton, and Denton Daniel Jordan and his wife Felecia of Lexington; a step-daughter, Deborah J. Heishman of Austin, Texas; two step-sons, Daniel J. Heishman and his fiancée Jeanie Lunsford of Roseland, and Jonathan A. Heishman and special friend, Amanda Brooks of Greenville; step-mother, Ruth A. Jordan of Bonita, California; a brother, Mark Jordan of Bonita, California; three sisters, Lana of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dale Marie of Staunton, and Diana Jordan of Lemon Grove, California; eight grandchildren, Paige Jordan, Riley Jordan, Dalton Jordan, Jack Jordan, George Jordan, Landyn Jordan, Isabella Jordan and Annie Hogan; and a number of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Valley Baptist Church by Pastor Frank Hall.Burial will follow in the Craigsville Community Memorial Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be Steve Johnson, Bill Colvin, Bill Ayers, Joe Colvin, Roger Aldhizer, Steve Mason, Dr. John Dunlap, Jonathan Heishman, and Daniel Heishman.It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to The Gideon's International, P.O.
