Denver HillPATASKALA: Denver Hill, age 68, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on August 18, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born on May 5, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. Denver was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Marines. Denver is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hill of Pataskala; mother, Betty Jo Hill of Pataskala; son, Aaron (Angela) Hill of Delaware, Ohio; stepsons, Dale (Jennifer) May of Columbus and Danny (Tracy) May, Jr. of Pataskala; grandchildren, Cody Hill, Austin Hill and MacKenzie Hill; step-grandchildren, Dustin May, Austin May, Ashley (Scott) Smith, Danielle May, Kara May, Evan Gutkoski, Matthew Gutkoski and Joshua Gutkoski; brothers, Terry (Francis) Hill of Newark, Ohio, Ricky (Tina) Hill of Columbus, Ohio, Mark (Misty) Hill of Howard, Ohio and Michael (Deborah) Hill of Utica, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Greg Morris of Florida, Roger Babbs of New Mexico, Dennis Babbs of Michigan and Tom Babbs of Florida; son-in-law, Steve Gutkoski; many nieces and nephews; and Denver's precious cat fur babies. Denver is preceded in death by his father, Oshell Hill; sons, Sean Hill and Trevor Hill; and stepdaughter, Katrina Gutkoski. His favorite hobbies included arrowhead hunting, fishing and bird watching. Denver had a wonderful sense of humor, was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Mt. Carmel East Hospital and Hospice for their great care of Denver during his illness. At a later date, a get together for family and friends will be given to celebrate Denver's life. At Denver's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
