On August 21, 2024, the world lost a beloved husband, father, and friend. Derrick Armstrong, born on February 19, 1976, in Houston, Texas, brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Derrick is survived by his loving wife and five children - Mike, Jawaun, Kierra, Alicia, and Makenna. He also leaves behind two adoring grandchildren.

Known for his passion for fishing, Derrick could often be found on the water, reeling in the big catch. He had a knack for bringing people together and always knew how to make others smile.

Although he may no longer be with us, Derrick's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in peace, Derrick. You will be dearly missed.
